Privacy Policy
How personal data may be handled when you browse the official Onooks website, contact the project or follow blockchain-related links.

Website operator and contact
This policy explains the handling of personal information through www.onooks.org and its connected website features. The Onooks project is associated with LiMiT. Privacy enquiries and requests should be directed to [email protected].
Controller transparency: The exact legal entity acting as controller and its mandatory registered contact particulars must be confirmed against the website’s actual operating and hosting arrangements before publication. Branding alone does not replace GDPR Article 13 controller identification.
Information we may receive
Depending on how you use the site, information may include your name, email, phone, company, website address and message supplied through the contact form; technical information such as IP address, browser information and request logs; cookie choices; and information you deliberately provide when interacting with third-party widgets.
Public blockchain addresses and transactions are generally visible on the Ethereum network. If you connect a wallet through a third-party interface, that provider may process wallet addresses and technical connection details under its own terms.
Purposes and legal bases
- Answering enquiries: legitimate interests or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, depending on the circumstances.
- Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interests in protecting the website and its visitors.
- Required compliance: processing necessary to meet applicable legal duties.
- Optional measurement or advertising cookies: consent where legally required, with the ability to withdraw it.
We do not describe optional tracking as strictly necessary merely because a plugin is installed.
Cookies and analytics
WordPress and the active theme may use cookies for functionality, preferences or session management. Embedded charts, videos, trading widgets or other external content may set separate identifiers. Analytics, advertising and other nonessential technologies should remain disabled for visitors requiring consent until valid consent has been obtained.
The specific cookie and vendor inventory cannot be verified from a public-page inspection alone; it depends on deployed plugins, scripts, location and consent state. Visitors should be offered meaningful controls wherever consent is required.
Third parties, embeds and on-chain services
The site may link to or embed services operated by independent providers, including blockchain explorers, wallets, exchanges, chart providers and social platforms. Their own privacy notices apply when you visit their sites or interact with embedded tools.
A blockchain transaction is processed by a decentralised network and cannot ordinarily be deleted by the website operator. Onooks.org does not control the independent parties operating Ethereum nodes or third-party decentralised exchanges.
Retention and security
Personal information should be retained only while necessary for an enquiry, site security, a documented legitimate purpose or a legal obligation. Technical logs, backup copies and contact enquiries can have different retention periods; actual periods must follow the host and plugin configuration.
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards should be applied, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security. Never send private wallet keys, passwords or wallet recovery phrases via the contact form or email.
International data transfers
Service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR applies and a restricted transfer occurs, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and any necessary supplementary protections must be used.
Your privacy rights
Where GDPR applies, individuals may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data where applicable, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
Write to [email protected] with enough detail to identify the relevant request. We may request reasonable identity verification to protect your information.
Children and policy changes
The site is intended as general project information, not a service directed to children. Please do not submit sensitive personal details or wallet recovery credentials. Material changes to this notice will be reflected in the updated date shown above.
